You are not here because of your ex.
Whatever your reasons for separation and divorce, you deserve a chance to move on with success and less baggage. I’m not referring to your former spouse or partner when I say baggage. I am referring to all the stories that have kept you from growing, in or out of the relationship.
Feel centered and safe.
You may find yourself struggling with the disbelief that life has dramatically changed overnight. That is where our work begins – giving you ways to move through the stress and soothe your nerves.
Make new choices.
There are many choices to make about how you untangle a relationship. Of course, separating assets can cause even more uncertainty and emotion.
During our time together, I invite you to bring it all. I am referring to all the stories that have kept you from growing, whether you are in or out of relationship.
About Me
I’m human, too.
In 2014, I was getting ready to graduate with a Master’s in Somatic Counseling Psychology. During preparation for delivering a thesis, my then-husband declared that he was leaving our marriage. That would be my third divorce.
Divorce has been an excellent catalyst for discovering who I am and how to thrive authentically. It allowed me to dive deeply and explore my life and how I felt about myself. Through therapy, mother nature, and several other modalities (writing, art, kundalini yoga, meditation), I discovered much about myself and learned to empower myself with compassion rather than judgment.
I offer this same empowerment and compassion for your journey with relationships and endings.
While I always specialize in separation and divorce, many life experiences can cause separation from who you are. Our work together centers on exploring and practicing ways to experience oneness and wholeness with yourself.
I believe that our trauma can lead us to our treasure. It’s time to take all the hurt and turn it into gold.
My education and credentials include…
…an MA in Somatic Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, Boulder, Colorado, in 2014.
I have been working in divorce and relationship endings for almost 10 years.
This time also includes working as a Divorce Mediator. My work as a mediator fueled my passion for working with individuals going through a divorce or ending.
When I’m not hanging out with you…
I am with my life partner, Brian, his kids, and Ketu, the Tibetan Terrier.
To be grounded and not get grumpy, hiking and snowshoeing are a must! I hiked my first 14-er last year and am looking forward to another inspiring challenge this summer.
I also have an affinity for the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings epics. That said, I get geeky about epic journeys. Hence, one reason I am a therapist.
