Where is your office?
My office is in Westminster, CO, and virtually anywhere in Colorado.
2000 W 120th Ave., Suite 5Westminster, CO 80234
What are your hours?
My hours are dynamic because your hours are dynamic. 🙂 Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 6:30 pm is typical and adaptable.
How long are the sessions?
Your initial session is 1.5 hours; sessions after that are typically 50-60 minutes. Sometimes you might need a little extra time.
Do you practice in person?
Yep! I prefer it.
Do you do virtual sessions?
Yep! It comes in handy with Colorado weather.
With whom do you primarily work?
I work with adults ages 30 – 65 who struggle with relationship endings, divorce, or grieving processes.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes, it is. Isn’t that cool? Some exceptions to confidentiality include self-harm, harm to others, and child or elder abuse. Counselors and Therapists are mandatory reporters.
What’s a unique thing about a session with you?
Sitting together, you can see a large planetary gong and several Tibetan singing bowls. They add richness and depth to any session.
What are your top three professional pieces of training/credentials?
My training and credentials include an MA in Somatic Counseling Psychology (received in 2014), Certification as a Collaborative Divorce Mediator, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and Somatic Attachment Therapy.
What are some modalities you practice?
Some of the modalities I practice include the following: Somatic Counseling Psychology – Body Dialogue, Somatic Attachment Therapy, Gestalt (informed), Guided Meditation, and Sound Therapy.
In-n-Out or Goodtimes?
I am originally from California and grew up with In-n-Out. It’s the winner.
Coffee or tea?
One cup of coffee first in the morning (with oat milk), then afternoon tea with local Colorado honey – yum!
Ocean or River?
I have a thing for rivers. I grew up with the ocean and spent some time scuba diving, but rivers still have my heart. I feel it’s how they carve and wind their way – clean, clear, and flowing. Being on the river bank provides instant healing.
